Luis Beltran

Luis is a Law Clerk at the Firm and assists with clients and prospective clients. He is currently a rising third-year law student with an interest in health law and public health emergency management. Conducting Employee Retention Credit (ERC) research provides an engaging crossover between tax law and public health emergency law. His professional experience includes working at a health law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, and at Emory University's institutional review board. Luis worked in the Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic as a student attorney during the 2021-2023 school year with a focus on Social Security benefits for Baltimore City residents living with HIV/AIDS.

Luis spends his free time taking long walks around his neighborhood, running, and biking throughout Baltimore. He has two dogs who love to join him on walks and runs, and has an endless camera roll full of pictures of them. Luis has been described by friends as a foodie because he spends most of his free time finding new restaurants to try out, so he am always open to new suggestions.
